A Journey Built on Experience, Passion and Purpose.  With more than 20 years of hairdressing experience, the founder of Kayisi Exotic Dreadlocks Extensions & Hair Braiding Brisbane has built her career around a passion for hair, creativity and helping people feel confident in who they are. Her journey began in Nigeria in 2004, where she started developing her skills and passion for hairdressing.

 

Since then, she has continued her journey across Australia, gaining experience in Western Australia, Sydney, Darwin and Brisbane.  Today, that experience has come together in Kayisi Exotic Dreadlocks Extensions & Hair Braiding in Brisbane — a business created to provide professional hair services for the Black and Afro-hair community. From Nigeria to Brisbane  Moving through different cities and communities has given her the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and develop a deep understanding of Black and Afro-textured hair.

 

After years of working in the industry, she established her Brisbane salon with the belief that clients should have access to professional hairdressing services that understand their hair, their needs and their individual style.  Hairdressing With Purpose For the founder, hairdressing is more than a service. During a difficult period in her life, she found that returning to her passion for hairdressing gave her a sense of purpose and became part of her personal journey of healing and moving forward.

 

That experience strengthened her belief in the value of what she does — not only creating hairstyles, but creating a space where people can feel welcomed, confident and cared for.  Her Vision The vision behind Kayisi Exotic Dreadlocks Extensions & Hair Braiding Brisbane is simple: To make professional, accessible and affordable Black hair salon services available to people near and far.
